چکیده
Microgrid (MG) is a small-scale, self-sufficient power system that accommodates various distributed energy resources (DERs), controllable loads, and future distribution systems. Networked microgrids (NMGs) are clusters of MGs, which physically interconnected functionally coordinated to enhance systems in terms economics, resilience, reliability. This paper introduces the architecture control NMGs including nanogrid (NG) MG. To accommodate variable DERs NMGs, master strategies adopted manage high penetration DERs, where focuses on economic operation, while reliability resilience through active sharing voltage frequency regulation. The initial practices NG, MG, NMG networked Illinois Institute Technology (IIT) campus microgrid (ICM) Bronzeville community (BCM) U.S. presented. applications illustrated for ICM-BCM show their benefits

This paper deals with a class of networked control systems whose controller architecture consists of two components, one “local” and the other “remote.” We first propose a framework for the analysis and design of controllers for this architecture and show how communication delays can be addressed. We discuss how the JINI Technology client/server environment can be used for controller implementa...
متن کاملNeural-Smith Predictor Method for Improvement of Networked Control Systems
Networked control systems (NCSs) are distributed control systems in which the nodes, including controllers, sensors, actuators, and plants are connected by a digital communication network such as the Internet. One of the most critical challenges in networked control systems is the stochastic time delay of arriving data packets in the communication network among the nodes. Using the Smith predic...
متن کاملImplementation Considerations For Wireless Networked Control Systems
We show that delay impulsive systems are a natural framework to model wired and wireless NCSs with variable sampling intervals and delays as well as packet dropouts. Then, we employ discontinuous Lyapunov functionals to characterize admissible sampling intervals and delays such that exponential stability of NCS is guaranteed. These results allow us to determine requirements needed to establish ...
متن کاملTools for improving resilience of electric distribution systems with networked microgrids
In the electrical grid, the distribution system is the most vulnerable to severe weather events. Well-placed and coordinated upgrades, such as the combination of microgrids, system hardening and additional line redundancy, can greatly reduce the number of electrical outages during extreme events. Indeed, it has been suggested that resilience is one of the primary benefits of networked microgrid...
